It's Paddle Happy Weekend!

Who’s ready for a giant dose of summer adventuring? We are! We are! Welcome to AO's fifth annual "Paddle Happy" event! Break up the winter funk and come get ready - and excited - for spring!!

If you haven't heard, a grassroots effort has been underway the last few years to bring like-minded, outdoor-based businesses together under one roof. Along with talkin' shop about new boats, backpacks, clothing and other gear during our largest sale of the year, this years Paddle Happy will include an 'official' unveiling of what we're calling "Warren's Outdoor Hub!" Folks from AO, The Goat Fort (Warren's first ever indoor climbing gym!) and Bent Run Brewing Company will be on hand to answer questions about our three businesses transition to our new spaces downtown!

As for the sale - EVERY kayak, SUP and backpack in the shop will be on sale! We've got more than 25 different rec kayak, fishing kayak and SUP models in stock from Old Town, Ocean, Aurora and Jackson Kayaks, ranging in prices from $399 on up. This will be the ONLY time in 2019 that not only will EVERY boat be discounted, but every boat purchase will include FREE weekend shuttles to Kinzua Dam from Memorial Day through Labor Day! If you're looking to get on the water or in the woods this year, you don't want to miss this event!

We'll have oodles of information on 2019 happenings along the Allegheny River and in the Allegheny National Forest - from poker runs to backpacking workshops; trail maintenance to full moon paddles; National Canoe & Kayak Races to Mountain Bike Festivals to fly fishing classes - and everything in-between!

Dana from The Goat Fort will be on hand from noon to 4pm Saturday, and the folks from Bent Run will attend from 10am to noon to answer questions about their upcoming projects! AO's newest member, Nate, will be on hand from noon to 3pm to answer questions about our upcoming guided hikes and backpacking trips!

Saturdays event will include snacks, finger foods, and adult refreshment samples courtesy of Bent Run Brewing Company and Straub Adventure Series craft beer - while supplies last. (Sale runs Friday through Sunday. Kayak sale excludes layaways. Sales event hours: Friday 11am-5pm; Saturday 10am-5pm; Sunday 11am-2pm.)
