Western Pennsylvania Pothole Paddling Guide
What an exciting day for northwest Pennsylvania paddlers! After months and months of hard work and planning, we finally present you with the Northwest Pennsylvania Pothole Paddling Guide!
Folks, we went all out on this one. Not sure how to handle your paddle craft when a deer jumps out as incoming traffic congests the roadway - we've got you covered. Go ahead and put a giant check mark next to squirrels, chipmunks, raccoon, and opossum while you're at it, because we covered those, too.
Months of work measuring not only the length and width of our potholes for safe navigation, but depth charts, too!
So grab your paddle, pfd, and that one crazy friend that's always up for a bad idea! Get a copy of the Pothole Paddling Guide, and hit the water! But do it fast because this whole book will be out of date by June 1st!
PS - Happy April First! Also, please don't try to paddle in a roadway. Also also, we love our PennDot crews and all the work they put in every year so we can safely navigate (our vehicles and bikes!) from place to place. All in good fun. If you enjoy this day, dig on through past fun times with Feline Friday, Rent-O-Possum, and that time the total eclipse changed course for a giggle.
PSS - While you're here, you might as well check out the Allegheny River Paddling Guide! It's real, we promise!
