New services in 2021!

Canoe & Kayak Storage

We’re excited to announce we’re expanding! Beginning August 2021, we will be offering winter storage for canoes and kayaks.

All storage costs will include a wash and wax prior to being put into hibernation in October, and another in April prior to spring pickup. Discounts will be given if you’ve purchased your canoe or kayak with us at AO. We’re finalizing prices in the coming months and will release those as soon as they’re available. Space will be limited due to the storage of our rental fleet, but we have planned for the capacity to comfortable store 40-50 private kayaks.

We’ll also be offering year-round storage for those of you that purchased boats with us and only use them to catch free weekend shuttles to Kinzua Dam and Buckaloons.

After Hours Gear Pickup & Return

On our last trip to Iceland we arrived at 5am, long before any shops were open. We did our research though, and found a gear shop that had a system where we could fill out liability forms and take care of payment online prior to arriving. The day of our trip we were given a unique code and address to pick up our rental gear after hours. It was such a cool service, we’ve decided to do the same! This small after-hours gear room will have its own keyless unique passcode entry (with no access to other areas), making it easier for all our backpackers, paddlers and mountain bikers to pick up and return rental gear regardless of time. (And we don’t have to come in at 6am for that backpacker in need of a camp stove, it’s a win-win!)
