Allegheny Outfitters is excited to welcome the Grass Roots Racing Warren Adventure Race (WAR) July 18, 2009, and would like to sponsor two teams in the event. Racers can expect some of the most challenging, yet beautiful, terrain in this third race of the Grass Roots Adventure Sprint Series. Allegheny Outfitters would like to sponsor local athletes who plan to compete in the Kinzua Country Tango adventure race Aug. 1, 2009. Sponsorship will include free canoe/kayak rental for the race, entry fees, t-shirt and a strong cheering section. Will consider solo racers and people who are teaming up to tackle the grueling race. FIRST ANNUAL ALLEGHENY RIVER CLEAN-UP: Allegheny Outfitters is proud to be sponsoring and organizing the First Annual Allegheny River Clean-Up! Our goal is to pick up trash along 31 miles of the Allegheny River, from Kinzua Dam to Tidioute, over five days in September. Our mission is to promote stewardship of the Allegheny River watershed and highlight how it has been, and continues to be, an important recreational, ecological and economic asset to Warren County.
