Allegheny River Clean-Up The Allegheny River is one of America’s most beautiful and clean rivers. For more than a decade the waterway has been designated one of the nation’s Wild and Scenic Rivers. Launched in 2009, the clean-up was a huge success! But the real heroes are the volunteers that worked so hard! Get involved!


US Army Corps of EngineersThe US Army Corps of Engineers control the outflow of water from the Kinzua Dam. When you click on their site, scroll down until you find "Upper Allegheny". Clicking on this will give you the most current stage and flow of the Allegheny River. If you scroll further down, you will see "Daily Reservoir Report and Forecast", which will give you the current and expected pool levels and releases for the next three days. A great resource for paddlers on the Allegheny!

PA Fish and Boat CommissionPA Fish and Boat Commission. Find everything you need here pertaining to PA regulations on life vests, fishing, etc. The mission of the Fish and Boat Commission is to protect, conserve, and enhance the Commonwealth's aquatic resources and provide fishing and boating opportunities.


Allegheny River Competitive Paddlers

The ARCP is for canoeists and kayakers wishing to improve their paddling technique, speed, and endurance. Our goal is to help interested paddlers find others to paddle with, while developing their skills.


Kinzua Allegheny Walleye AssociationDAV Walleye Tournaments. The John Giordano Memorial Tournament is scheduled at the Allegheny Reservoir at Willow Bay on May 17 and 18. The DAV Challenge Tournament will be held at the Allegheny Reservoir at Elijah Run on June 21 and 22. Good luck and good fishing.


Northern Allegheny Mountain Bike Association (NAMBA) The portion of the Pennsylvania Wilds that surrounds the Kinzua Resevoir to include parts of both Warren and McKean counties. This is where we call home, and when it is placed in conjunction with our neighbors to the north, to include Chautauqua and Cattaragus Counties in New York, we have the best MOUNTAIN BIKING in the eastern great lakes region!


Grass Roots Racing Grass Roots Racing is a collaborative effort of outdoor enthusiasts. With over 30 years combined racing experience, and over 20 years combined race directing and course design, we pride ourselves in producing events that are challenging to seasoned racers while providing newcomers with the opportunity for a great first time experience.
